The Crude Systems Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining crude system hydraulic models based on forward looking Commercial volume forecasts and current operational conditions. Successful management of the crude hydraulic models will require close collaboration with Commercial, Operations, Pipeline Control, and Asset Engineering groups. The Crude Systems Engineer will incorporate volume forecasts into the hydraulic model and recommend gathering and/or transmission infrastructure expansions. Infrastructure will typically include low pressure pipeline design and routing, LACT sizing and design, tankage expansions, and high-pressure pumping/transmission pipeline expansions. Additionally, the Crude Systems Engineer will be responsible for supporting development of cost estimates for new Business Development opportunities as well as ongoing smaller scale infrastructure expansions and gas/crude system optimization. This position will also provide day-to-day support for Operations and Project Management personnel in the crude systems.
