The Training Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of corporate, safety and compliance training events.  This includes vetting third party trainers, scheduling in-person and online training events, coordinating with operations and engineering leadership and the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department to determine regulatory-required and best practices training, tracking employee trainings in the learning management system (LMS), assist in the development of training content for in-person and online trainings, and ensuring the trainers have all the necessary equipment and materials for training sessions. - Partner with operations, engineering, and EHS leaders to identify necessary training and schedule training events. - Prepare and present comprehensive training reports to management and key stakeholders. - Identify and vet third-party training vendors ensuring they meet training objectives and requirements. - Assist in the development of engaging training material, including presentations, CBT modules, and training manuals. - Manage training schedule through calendar management, enrollment of employees, and tracking training completion. - Coordinate activities for training events including scheduling training rooms, sending notifications, scheduling attendees and trainers. The Gas Pipeline Scheduler will gather, maintain, coordinate and balance volumes of gas to be transported through FERC regulated on-system pipelines and facilities. Research errors and determine/recommend resolutions to customers or updates to interface. - Review, analyze and document escheat legal requirements of various states; compile research and file all required unclaimed property returns with appropriate agencies. - Monitor Accounts Payable aging, identify any potential issues and analyze, research, identify and resolve any discrepancies between AP sub-ledger and the general ledger on a monthly basis. - Participate in SOX compliance, including update of process documentation as necessary research. - Maintain monthly close schedule. - Maintain/update (with approval of AP Manager) and distribute all departmental procedures, forms and documentation. - Responsible for maintaining accurate approved vendor information and annual 1099 reporting. - Responsible for annual escheat planning and reporting processes. - Ensures that accounts payable controls are achieved and adherence to SOX controls are met including the reconciliation of accounts payable sub ledger to the general ledger. - Partners and builds rapport with a variety of internal customers (i.e. Operations, Engineering, field personnel and Purchasing group etc.) to provide accurate and timely processing of vendor payments. - Provide coaching and development opportunities for direct reports, assist employees with identifying personal development needs and assessing available resources. - Oversees the annual 1099 and escheat reporting processes. - Performs other duties and special projects as determined by the AP Manager.
